Welcome to the Flights of Fancy Aviary website. Our aim is to hand raise baby birds as pet companions for the general public. We love what we do and it shows. Our parent birds are happy and healthy, not over bred and live in large cages. Wendy has been a bird lover and fancier for over 20 years. At one time she had over 75 pairs, mostly large parrots. At any given time she was handfeeding babies throughout the night. Her favourite species were the Cockatoos, having many pairs of Goffins, Umbrellas, Medium Sulpher Crested, Molluccan's and of course, Cockatiels. Cockatiels make wonderful first time pets for people who feel they want to have a parrot. Once people have learned how to care for and have a Cockatiel in the house, they may be ready to move onto a larger bird.
