Our parent birds are happy and healthy, not over bred and live in large cages.
Although we love the larger birds, we have been concentrating lately on the
smaller, mid-sized varieties. Cockatiels make the most wonderful pets for first
time bird owners. The males generally talk quite well and the females, although
quieter, have the most sweetest of natures when hand raised. Of course, we cant
ever leave Ruby, our female Eclectus, out of the picture. She is a keeper, one
of those birds you leave in a will to one of the kids. Below are some of our
adult pairs.

Eclectus Parrot
The Eclectus Parrot, both male and female are striking in appearance. The
female is red and dark blue/purple in appearance. The male is almost a
flourescent green with tinges of blue, red and a little yellow on the tail. The
birds on the left are Ruby and Emerald. Ruby is my long time handraised pet.
Emerald has since been re-homed as he wasn't the best match for her.

Timneh African Greys
This pair has recently been purchased. They laid 2 clutches of clear eggs
before giving me a baby. Mom and Dad fed the baby until it was pulled for
handfeeding at 15 days of age. Pics of this babies development can be seen in
the baby section. |

Umbrella Cockatoos
We currently have a breeding pair of cockatoos. They are a proven pair
purchased about a year ago. We have an awesome baby from them hatched in April.
Pics of this babies development can be seen in the baby section. We expect them to go to nest again
this Fall. |
White Face Cockatiels
We have a white face normal male and a cinnamon whiteface female. They are both
a little older, and this pairing proves that second relationships can indeed
work. Watch for babies coming this Fall. |

Pied Cockatiels
Male and female pied cockatiels, now 2 1/2 years old. They've had 2 clutches
with us, the first producing a whiteface, cinnamon pearl female. Go figure. I
cant wait to see this Fall's clutches. |
